Cotman Watercolor Paper is an inexpensive, mould made, wood free paper with maximum stability. It’s also acid free for extensive life without deterioration. Cotman has a natural warm whiteness and is both internally and externally sized. The sizing ensures even absorption, brilliance of color, and easy erasing, sponging, and removal of art masking fluid without damaging the surface. These spiral bound watercolor pads each contain 12 sheets of 140 lb. cold press Cotman paper, with strong backing boards for added rigidity and stability.

I purchased the water colour pad for my 4yr old and 2 yr old granddaughters. the paper holds up very well to the excessive water used by them. They thoroughly enjoy painting with it. I will purchase it again in the future.

I ordered this to take on vacation with me to do quick watercolor landscape studies. Was very happy with this paper which takes a lot of punushment like scrubbing and even erasing of pencil sketches prior to painting and still performs well. Also, I find the spiral format easier to manage than watercolor blocks. No complaints.

This is a sturdy book to keep in any field bag. It soaks up water well and holds a line. Not fussy at all.

The WINSOR & NEWTON Cotman Spiral Water Colour Pad is a premium watercolor pad. The pigments go on rich, smooth and controlled -- no fussing with getting the paper to accept the artists work! I certainly will continue to use this product.

a really nice, off white paper to take along for plein air painting. lots of the characteristics of the more expensive papers. Also good with soft Pastel. Handles quite a bit of scrubbing

The best quality cold press watercolour paper I have found. Charcoals, pastels and inks lay down perfectly.
